This seminar explores how society judges and misjudges individuals, through Flannery O’Connor’s consummate examination of how “good” and “bad” people actually live their lives. Participants will find that O’Connor’s masterpieces of the Southern Gothic tradition can disturb as well as delight, providing provocative material for us to examine together.
