First Congregational Church, 7:30 p.m.
In a rare West Coast appearance, Paul Auster, the prolific New York novelist, essayist, poet and screenwriter, comes to Portland to engage in a lively conversation about the contemporary novel with fellow novelist, Siri Hustvedt. Among Auster’s critically acclaimed novels are The New York Trilogy (1986), The Music of Chance (1990), The Book of Illusions (2002) and Oracle Night (2003).
