Roseburg and Klamath Falls readings

Oregon Book Awards

April 20 & 21, 2006

Literary Arts is pleased to present readings around the state that feature finalists of the 19th annual Oregon Book Awards. Upcoming readings will take place on Thursday, April 20, 7:00 p.m. at Douglas County Library (1409 NE Diamond Lake Blvd. in Roseburg) and Friday, April 21, 7:30 p.m. at the Klamath County Library (126 S Third St. in Klamath Falls). The authors’ books will be available for purchase. The events are free and open to the public.

Gillian Klucas, finalist in general nonfiction for Leadville (Island Press)
James C. Mohr, winner in general nonfiction for Plague and Fire (Oxford University Press)
Angelyn Ray, finalist in children’s literature for Fables by the Sea, Volume One (The Aenor Trust)
Henry Sayre, winner in children’s literature for Cave Paintings to Picasso (Chronicle Books)

Local support for these Oregon Book Awards Author Tour events comes from Douglas County Library, Friends of the Douglas County Library, Klamath County Library, Friends of the Klamath County Library, Waldenbooks in Roseburg and Klamath Falls, Sleep Inn and Suites of Roseburg, and An Association of Writers.
