Literary Arts In The Community2012 OREGON BOOK AWARD FINALISTS AND FELLOWSHIP RECIPIENTS ANNOUNCED
Buy Tickets to 25TH ANNUAL OREGON BOOK AWARDS CEREMONY here! THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO GAVE TO LITERARY ARTS THROUGH THIS YEAR’S GIVE!GUIDE
We raised more than $39,750 for Writers in the Schools (WITS) at our fall WITS luncheon. It was great to see so many table hosts, guests, friends, writers, principals, and students in the room. Thank you, everyone!
On October 12th, the twenty Finalists for the 62nd National Book Awards were announced on Oregon Public Broadcasting’s morning radio program, Think Out Loud, in front of a live audience at our new downtown storefront. To watch a video of the event and see a full list of the finalists click here!
This year we were inspired to fill the house with new Reserved and Patron subscribers. An anonymous donor stepped forward last spring and offered $27,000 to encourage audience members to subscribe, upgrade, and give. The challenge is in honor of our 27th year. We are glad to announce that we made it and are grateful to the many Reserved and Patron subscribers who helped us reach our 27/27 Challenge!
