Genevieve Hudson is a fiction writer and essayist whose second novel, Headfirst, is forthcoming from Roxane Gay Books / Grove Atlantic. Their other books include Boys of Alabama, which was a finalist for the Oregon Book Award, and Pretend We Live Here, a Lambda Literary Award finalist. Genevieve has received fellowships from the Fulbright Program, MacDowell, Sitka Center for Art and Ecology and other places. They teach in the Creative Writing MFA Program at Antioch University, Los Angeles, and live in Portland, Oregon.
